Pottery

Sorry! Haven't blogged : ( Busy. Yesterday I glazed my pots. They were mint green, pansy purple, teal blue, and blackberry. ( blackberry was pink ) I designed on some of them.It was REALLY fun.

You read my mind!

Uncle J.C. , I talked to my mom before you commented and said I wanted to give you a pot. I swear. Today I even talked to a girl in my class about it. I've made some nice lookin' pots! How you trim: first you pot the pot on the wheel, turn it on not that fast, and you stick the needle as close to the pot as you can, and see where it scratches. Then you move the pot a tiny bit, and when there's a light circle around the pot you put clay around the pot and take your tool, and round the pot and if your pot is really thick, you make a stand in the bottom. I'm glad I do pottery!

Pottery Class

Tra-C, there is not a certain shape in pottery. Some of mine were straight, some were tilted. I made 4 cylinders today. I haven't made any bowls yets, but on thursday i'll try to. Tomorrow we are trimming, which is you trim off some of the bottom because if you don't it won't glaize right.

I can't wait!

I can't wait until it's " Uncle J.C. and Aunt Tra-C! " I want to see New Orleans and try their "Sno Balls". For the wedding ring get a big sapphire, a medium ruby, and a small diamond, for Uncle Joe get a tiny ruby sapphire and diamond, for mrs. and mr. america! Anyway I made a pot in pottery class. It felt good to have clay all over my hands.

Baby Shower

Today I went to Stephanie's Baby Shower. First we talked a little bit, then we had games. The first game was guess the unlabeled baby food. I got 3 out of 10 right. I mostly had help. The next game was try to guess and write down all 25 baby things in the basket. I got 11 out of 25 right. Then we had cake. It was a butterfly. It was good. Then Aunt Gerri braided little braids all around my head and there were these tiny plastic binkys and Elizabeth put them on the top of my braids, and I put a bow on top. We got goody bags, I got a pen, starbursts, lipgloss,and nail polish. It was really fun. My mom put lots of pictures on my blog. Look at the previous months.

Home

We got home safely. It feels weird to be home. I'm totally not used to this keyboard! I've been typing on a laptop for a long time. I already miss Uncle Tim and Aunt Tammi.

Leaving

The MAX is the Metropolitan Area Express light rail, similar to STL's MetroLink. Yesterday we played miniature golf. Aunt Tammi won! I lost. The 18th hole was easy. I got a birdie on some holes. After that we got frozen yogurt. I got mint choc chip in a cone. Then we went to Mt. Tabor park. I did my quarter trick, you put the quarter on your elbow, and "Alabaloo" it's gone! Today I am leaving, Ill see you in St. Louis and Uncle J.C. in May.

Japanese Garden

Yesterday we went to the Japanese Garden. We took the Max there. In the garden there were Koi fish and a big fountain. We had to wait, cause even Tommy was walking. Someone there called him Walker. The thing Tommy liked the most was a rock that he picked up! Sorry, the garden is hard to explain. But, I can say it's pretty! I got a souvenir, a glass cat stretching. Liz payed mom 10.00 for this thing that shows you how to write in Japanese. We took the Max home. Now I don't know are swabbing the whole house for 5 cents an hour, why not 500.00 an hour! I'll swab everyone elses houses for free.

Multnomah Falls

Yesterday we went to Multnomah Falls. Dad, Mom, Will,Tommy and I hiked up to the top. (Tommy was in my mom's sling) Elizabeth stayed with Uncle Tim. The top was so cool! We felt the water. It was freezing! After we got to the bottom my legs were so sore! We got snow cones. They weren't as good as the Rose Garden snow cones, but they were good. When we got home we went to a neighborhood party. I got a sandwich and coke. Then I drew and stamped. After that, I got blueberry tea and a piece of pizza. The tea was okay. Then we went home and watched the movie, Robots. It was a good movie.We had fun.

Leaving

Today we left the beach. We got mcdonalds for lunch. I got chicken nuggets and french fries with dr. pepper. They finally put the food in boxes instead of bags. On the box it said ask your mom if you can swab the floor! I've done it, but I would never ever ask! We went in the Astoria Column. It showed Lewis and Clarks journey on the tower. Then we drove through Washington and back to Oregon.

Store

Yesterday I went to a store. I got a regular and mini sand dollar, a starfish, a bag of shells, and a small blue glass fish. I can't stop looking at them! I've been in the ocean 3 times. I got SO numb! It is so fun. I made a chair out of sand and 2 sand castles

Oregon

We're getting spoiled! It's awesome here! The baby's doing good. I love Oregon!

Queen Claire

Today we went on street cars to the rose garden. There was a fountain, and in the fountain I found 2 roses. I put them on my ears and we took a picture. We were going downstairs and I found another rose. The two roses were in my ears and I held it and we took another picture. I got a rainbow colored snow cone. I got a pretty necklace with three real roses in the charm. We went to Rogue Brewery and I got a Shirley Temple and chicken nuggets. I had fun. We rode the Max home.

Alpine Slide etc.

Today we went to Lava Butte and you could see so many mountains, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood, The Three Sisters, Mt. Jefferson, and Newberry. You could see the the Lava Field, and oh, I forgot, yesterday we saw a big gorge, and traintracks went over it. We actually saw a train go over. And yesterday we took a walk, and there was a concert, so there was a thing to block the cars, and there was a guy atleast in his 30's and he tried to get his bike over the thing, and his bike got caught, and he had a circle of blood around his head. But anyway we went to the Alpine slide on Mt. Hood, and you go on a ski lift and get off and then go down a HUGE slide in a sled thing and you could go really fast, in the middle, or slow. It was just so great.

Oregon

I'm in Oregon. It is so cool! I get to see Uncle Tim & Aunt Tammi's dog and cats. The cats are scared. Could they be nicer!? We can swim in their hottub. Theyfilled it with cold water. But it's ninety-four degrees fahrenheit in the water. Today we're going to Bend and staying in a hotel for a day. On Friday and Saturday we're going to a beach house in Manzanita. It's going to be so fun! That's all I have to say, Bye! (It's 10:15 in Oregon time.)

Arch

On Friday, July 21,'06 I went in the Arch for the first time with Uncle J.C., Tra-C, Mom, Liz, and Will. We could see so much! My ears were popping in the tram going up and down. We went in the museum. We saw the boat that Uncle J.C. and Tra-C are riding back to New Orleans in! It was made out of buffalo skin, and the tail was still on. There were electronic people talking! Eww! They Wig me out! I hope the people who made them aren't looking at my blog! I would be dead meat! Anyway, it was so fun!
