The Lake

Yesterday I went to Mark Twain Lake. I skied so much that my back hurts-Uncle John, that doesn't mean I'm an old lady! Aunt Gerri, Aunt Becky, Elizabeth, Erich, Katie, Grandpa and I were all there. We swam and had jumping contests also. We had so much fun!

Gosh, you have certainly had a busy and fun summer! I hope you got to drive the boat for a while also.

I love hearing about all your adventures, including the fact that you have gotten too old and cranky to ski without hurting your back.

Today I went to the top of a big lighthouse, and swam in the Atlantic ocean. We also went to a historic school for "Gullah" people here in South Carolina. For your information, Gullah is the name for the local African American Seal Islanders here on the Atlantic coast. It was neat.

By the way: aren't you supposed to be making me a cake in the shape of a giant letter "G" for genius? I want my cake! I'm willing to pay good money for that cake.
