Luckily, vacation had nothing to do with school, Uncle John. First, we drove, and drove, and drove, until we finally got to Mississippi. We went to Tallahatchie Flats and met the manager of the Sharecropper Shacks, Mr. Bubba. We went into our place, made of scraps of wood! We had a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a deck. We looked around, and then went to the Tallahatchie River. Then, we had our not-good-at-all dinner. After dinner we went to Mr. Bubba's home and learned a game that we would play as real sharecropper kids, called jackrocks. It's like jacks, except only with rocks. Then we ate watermelon and went to bed. The next day we pretty much just left for New Orleans. When we got there we went to Oak Alley Plantation. We learned all about the house, so much I can't write it all. Then we went to our awesome hotel, the Hampton Inn. It was a giant room with a big bed, sofa bed, desk area, and a spinning TV, so you could watch it anywhere. There was also an outside pool, and we were usually the only ones there. That night we went to Cannons, a really good restaurant. Then we took a walk, swam, and went to bed. The next day we walked, and walked to the French Quarter. Then we took the Streetcar to the aquariam and saw many things, like jellyfish, and I thought I would never get stung. Then we took the bus to the Bluebird cafe, which was sooo good! Then we got directions to get snowballs, but we got sent 14 blocks the wrong way and had to call Aunt Tracy. So we got the snowballs which were terrible, and walked to the hotel and swam. That night we went to Mandina's for dinner, with the family. The next day we went to audobon park and got the best snowballs ever! Then we went back and swam. Then we got ready for the wedding. Then we went to the church and saw the wedding, and we all laughed when they put the ring on the wrong finger, dropped it, and then Uncle Joe said, " It was the cheaper of the two rings, it doesn't matter!" Next we went to the reception at the zoo, and we ate the delicious food. Then I danced with all the cousins, and Uncle Joe and Aunt Tracy danced. Then we ate delicious 7-7-07 cake. We looked at the animals too. There were nutria (giant rats), cougars, and alligators. Then we went back and went to bed. The next day we drove to Orange Beach, AL. We went to Holiday Inn and right away went swimming in the ocean, and I got stung on my hand. Then we got a delicious dinner at Winn Dixie. The next day the family came and swam and I got stung again. That night we drove to the motor home and had dinner and took a walk. The next day the family came to swim again, and we went to lunch at Gulf Shores Steamers (my teacher recommended it), and we all liked it a lot. That night we went to the glass bottom boat and saw a lot of dolphins. Then we went for ice cream without any dinner. Then we went back and went to bed. The next day we swam and I got stung, and then we left for Mississippi. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites and swam and exercised, and the next day we went home and I got sick, and now it is the next day and Tommy and I are sick. That was my vacation!

I am glad you had such a swell time on vacation, and that I was able to be with you for a little while at vacation. I thought the funniest part of Uncle Joe and Aunt Tracy's wedding was when the minister mispronounced "Berenczen" and Uncle Joe made a very funny face. It sounds like you have a tendency to get stung by jellyfish when swimming in the ocean. There's a way to avoid that - swim in a giant plastic bag. That way the jellyfish can't touch you. I got stung once in the Webster Groves swimming pool.
Uncle John
I am writing this from the airport in Atlanta (on wifi), where Aunt Tracy and I have a 4 hour layover coming back from our honeymoon. We are glad you had a good time at the wedding and reception. When you were in Orange Beach getting stung by jellyfish, we were nice and cool in Montreal, eating mussels and bison and listening to people speak french!
